Apollo’s AV2 Evolution
Apollo’s AV2 Evolution is a redesigned Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV) designed to take advantage of superior materials and adapt to changing needs. Apollo’s newest lead acid battery offers 24 Volts, 13 Amps, and up to 25 percent longer continuous run than available from the previous 10 Amp version.
Several additional important improvements have been made. Continuous running of a DPV generates a lot of heat. The new beefier HYB DC brushless motor provides an increased 262 watts and is built with aluminum to dissipate heat that can be generated by increased loads. The new aluminum case is immensely superior for dispersion of heat.
Gold plating has been added to the contacts. Gold can be deposited in very thin layers. It also happens to be the best conductor of electricity and it is virtually impervious to corrosion.
Interested parties can visit www.apollosportsusa.com online to download the AV2 Evolution internal diagram and spec sheet. The Evolution is available with your choice of the new 13A Lead Acid battery or for maximum fun the Ni-MH battery version can provide up to 120 minutes of run time.
