Flurohood has introduced their line of brightly colored dive/snorkel hoods to increase diver safety and comfort. Designed in New Zealand by a keen diver, these hoods will transfer well to California dive conditions. Produced from quality neoprene with glued and double-stitched seams, durability and comfort are a given.

Usually a diver’s hood is the only thing projecting above the water at the surface. Flurohood has recognized the potential for divers to be struck by boats or simply lost, so this high visibility hood is born.

Flurohoods are available in three styles and the stock colors are orange with a green stripe and a reflective strip for night dive/rescue.

Flurohood for wetsuits is a 5mm hood with generous soft seal around the neck and face. The soft seal can be trimmed for a custom fit as required. There is an air purge hole with inside flap (no cold patches on the head). Flurohood for dry suits is also 5mm with the same features as the wetsuit hood but, of course, it has the dry suit type neck. Flurohood Beanie is a 2mm stretchy beanie hood suitable for a variety of uses. It is a great snorkel hood or warm water dive hood. It can be worn over your existing dive hood so is suitable for tour operators to supply their clients to increase safety and identify their group. Add to this the potential to order larger quantities with the operators logo and you have a great branding tool.
